NEWS [April 16, 2008]

I am officially the resident graphic artist for Theatre Pro Rata! This means I'm in charge of all of the promotional material for upcoming performances, as well as maintaining the theatre's website. The website is going to be completely re-designed within the next few months, and I'm looking forward to it!

In other news, I've opened up an Etsy shop. In addition to graphic design, I'm also involved in crafts, so I opened up an Etsy shop to sell some of my creations (as well as some supplies I no longer need). Please visit the shop (and often!) and spread the word to anyone who may be interested.

I just finished designing a postcard for the play, "Metamorphoses" for Theatre Pro Rata. I'll be designing a poster as well. The play opens March 21, 2008 and ends on April 6, 2008. Check out the website for more details.

Issue three of the Franz Ferdinand fan club magazine has been printed up, and it looks lovely.

I received a copy of Words So Leisured: An A-Z of Franz Ferdinand and it looks fantastic! It's a great book. You can order a copy from Northumbria University Press, or from music retailers like HMV or Amazon.

I've been asked to do a couple design and website jobs, so I'll be getting to work on those soon. Thosquanta have asked me to design the artwork for their upcoming album, and I'll be creating a website for MSRP. It should be fun!

I'm giving the website some much-needed attention. Keep checking back for new artwork!

I've been very busy doing graphic design work lately. I designed a poster and postcard for the play, "Dusa, Fish, Stas & Vi" for Theatre Pro Rata. They printed up nicely! The play opens Saturday, September 22nd. Check the website for details!

I also designed a page for the book, Words So Leisured: An A-Z of Franz Ferdinand by Helen Chase. It will be released soon through Northumbria University Press. I'm also included in a section of the book where I discuss my work with the fan club. To order a copy, please click here.

And, speaking of the Franz Ferdinand lads, I've been working on several pieces for the third issue of the fan club magazine. I created the front and back covers and two layouts. One of my designs is also featured in the "Fan Art" section. I'll keep everyone posted when the third issue is released.

There's a contest through the Art Institute Online (the school I'm currently attending) and the winner gets a $10,000.00 scholarship. Please vote for my entry! The entries with the most votes will be selected for the panel judging round, and the winner will receive a $10,000.00 scholarship.

My painting of James Dean Bradfield will be used in the August 6, 2006 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine (Germany). Pick up a copy if you can!

The artwork for the "Swallow Smile" 7" single for the Franz Ferdinand Fan Club has been finished, and is currently being printed. The fan club will launch very, very soon.

I'm currently working on designing the artwork for the "Swallow Smile" 7" single for the Franz Ferdinand Fan Club. The fan club is just about ready to be launched! I'm designing a front and back cover for the sleeve as well as labels for the record itself.
